Work stuff (2009)
Freelance work - Partizan Lab

Oh man, it's been forever since I posted. But here are some sketches from freelance worked I did last summer for 'Partizan Lab'. I designed some character ideas for the Carphone Warehouse commercial that launched October 2010 and it was very fun to work on. The animators Eric Lerner and Patrick Bergh did a fantastic job on the animation and was a great group to work with. You can see the video here.
Since my last post I started a new job and currently working at Zynga East and enjoying it very much. Working with a very talented group of artists and a very small team overall but feels nice since my past job has been filled with over 100 people. It's refreshing to be part of a small unique and fun team :)
Update mode very soon.

Art Institute demo piece...

Here is a piece done for a small workshop demo at the AI of Washington DC. It was a collaborative demo along side couple of friends/co-workers from Firaxis Games (Aaron Yamada Hanff & Piero Macgowan). We each did a piece for the demo and discussed about the work and our individual process. Was a great weekend meeting new artists and getting together with our friends and spending time in the downtown Arlington/DC area.

Long time no post mini-dump

It's been some time since I posted anything on this blog. But here are some updates from a project I was working on while I was over at Big Huge Games. I was mainly working with the Wii project and it was very fun/interesting. Learned tons and since past October I have been working at a new company down the street (Firaxis games) and enjoying it very much. More great talent and inspiration :)

*Updated* Robo-Mode/ MGS4 is AWESOME!!!

*Updated* Here is the final Robo image.
Let's see, recently been quite busy at Big Huge Games and enjoying it very much and bought/finished playing MGS4! If you guys haven't picked it up yet go out and buy a copy....borrow one from a friend who already finished it, or rent it! It is by far the best version of the MGS series and is extremely worth the wait. I'd say one of the best few reasons to own a PS3. Gorgeous graphics, awesome gameplay, great tracks, and the story is the best part of it all.
Hope everyone is doing well!
